Skincare for the body
Exfoliating Back Facial-
A “facial” for your back. This service includes steam, deep pore cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, back massage, high frequency if beneficial for you, a treatment mask and finally a moisture application.
The Back Facial is essentially a facial for your back and is for treating the hard to reach areas of your back. Many of us experience clogged pores and breakouts on our backs especially during the summer months when we perspire more or in winter when dead, dry skin flakes off and clogs our pores. A back facial is an excellent treatment to pamper yourself, address an “issue”, to get ready for outdoor activities where you may be showing more skin, or just to build confidence for a date night. Let’s face it no one likes black heads or acne on our bodies.
Our Back Facial begins with a steam application, followed by deep pore cleanse then a salt scrub (with exfoliating gloves- which you get to keep after your service for continued care at home) to exfoliate and smooth the skin, if necessary we will perform extractions (a detailed pore cleansing to treat any breakouts or blackheads), a treatment or mud mask will follow to aid in the detoxifying, rejuvenating and smoothing of your skin. Last a moisture treatment will be applied via light massage to sooth, relax and complete your service. High frequency wand will be utilized complimentary if deemed beneficial for your skin.

Vajacial- (ladies only)
Your face is not the only place that needs professional skincare. Skin imperfections can occur anywhere there is skin. A vajacial is exactly what it sounds like, a facial for outer labia area of the vagina. This service is really great for athletes, sweating and friction far too often causes acne, ingrown hairs, etc. Usually an excellent exfoliation can take care of that quickly. This service included precleanse, cleanse, exfoliation, extractions if necessary, mask, toner, serum, and moisturizer. As with any of our skincare services, any machine upgrades are included at no additional cost if deemed beneficial.

Foot Facial and chemical peel-
Have you ever received a pedicure, and just felt like even after the “cheese grater”, and pumice stone, that your nail tech could have scrubbed for another 30 minutes and just began to get all the roughness off your feet? ME TOO! Every time. This service is for you! This Service starts with a lactic acid pre cleanse to soften the dead skin. Followed by a glycolic & malic acid cleanse to loosen it a bit more. Next your Aesthetician will perform diamond tip microdermabrasion over the entire plantar surface of the foot literally sanding away and suctioning away the rough texture. Then a chemical peel will be performed to dissolve away any remaining dead skin. After the chemical peel, a seaweed and aloe softening mask will be applied to the feet, and the feet are placed under LED light to calm inflammation, and penetrate the aloe deep into the pores. This service is completed with application of toner, serum, and moisturizer. Your tooties will feel as soft as silk.

Descriptions of some of the terms used above:
An extraction is the process of clearing a clogged or compacted pore by manual or mechanical means. Extractions are often performed as part of a facial. Most people need at least a couple of extractions during each facial, though you may require more extractions if this is your first facial. Comedones (blackheads) are the most common reason for extraction. A blackhead is not necessarily “dirt in the pores” as many people think. It is a pore that has become clogged with excess sebum and dead skin cells. The dark spot which is visible on the surface of the skin is oil which has oxidized and darkened on exposure to the air, like when you slice an apple and allow it to sit out for a while. Pustules and pimples can also be extracted, depending on their size and depth. This often requires the use of a lancet to gently lift and remove the very top layer of the pustule to allow the contents to be easily extracted. Some pores may not be ready to be extracted on the first attempt and may require several treatments before they can be cleared.
An adjective that means relating to or involving electric currents produced by chemical action. A galvanic cell, or voltaic cell, named after Luigi Galvani, or Alessandro Volta respectively, is an electrochemical cell that derives electrical energy from spontaneous redox reactions taking place within the cell. This wonderful treatment can be considered a ‘non-surgical face lift’. This treatment involves the use of a device that uses low-level galvanic (electric) current to facilitate the transport of key ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin for improved cleansing, hydration, circulation, and radiance. Recommended for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Some benefits of the use of the galvanic attachment during your facial are: tones muscles, decreases the appearance of age spots, anti-bacterial, helps remove sebaceous blockages and clear congestion that leads to acne, reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helps restore sun damaged skin.
High frequency designed by inventor Nikola Tesla in 1891. It is used to produce high-voltage, low-current, high frequency alternating-current. Electrotherapy is considered a timeless and essential skin rejuvenating treatment in the skin care industry, high frequency stimulates cell renewal by gently warming the tissues of the skin. Some benefits of the use of the high frequency attachment during your facial are: Helps increase blood circulation, treats and prevents stubborn acne by drying oil and killing bacteria below the surface of the epidermis where products alone cannot reach, decreases the appearance of enlarged pores, reduces the appearance of fine lines, supplies nutrition to the skin, helps rid the skin of toxins, sterilizes and diminishes inflammation, promotes wound healing, and penetrates products deeper into the skin
An electronic spinning brush that sloughs off dead cells to remove any dirt and grime that clings to the skin’s surface. Typically used when exfoliation is needed.
Ultrasonic is an adjective referring to ultrasound. Ultrasound is sound with a frequency greater than the upper limit of human hearing (greater than 20 kHz). The application of ultrasonic frequency is commonly used to penetrate deep below the surface of the skin promoting cellular renewal and repair, toning muscles, increasing blood circulation, encouraging lymphatic drainage, combating puffiness and swelling and improving skin care product penetration. Some benefits of the use of the ultrasonic attachment during your facial are: increase cellular turnover, exfoliation, plump up and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, relieve puffy eyes, reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve acne, tighten enlarged pores, freckles and old age spots and even repair scar damage. The process is safe, painless and gentle and is can even be used by sensitive skin types such as those with Rosacea.
