Melvin Shearin (soon to be massage therapist)

I became interested in massage therapy to heal the body, mind, and spirit.  I was driven to this particular path because I was in chronic low back pain, and found medicinal methods were unable to heal me.  Therefore, I found that massage therapy was a way of healing not only my lower back, but my mind and spirit.  Using a mix of cultivated techniques with my clients, on physical and mental planes, renews my belief in the power of the body to self-healing.  I started to serve as a catalyst for the healing process with clients that creates a domino-effect in their process of self-work.

I graduated from Chester Career College, May 2021, with a license of over 750 hours of education and hands-on-training.  My favorite types of massage to perform are myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, trigger point, sports massage, active isolated stretching, prenatal massage, Hawaiian Ka Huna massage (Lomi Lomi), cupping and hot stone.
